ALOGIC Quad 4K Display Thunderbolt Hybrid Universal Docking Station – DU4
Up to 4K x 4
When linked to a computer that supports Thunderbolt (or many USB4 machines) the DU4 dock can connect up to four external displays in flexible combinations of the 2x HDMI, 3x DisplayPort and 2x Thunderbolt downstream ports*.
The DU4 dock will also connect up to three displays to laptops that don’t support Thunderbolt.
* The available number of outputs and maximum resolutions are dependent on the capabilities of the computer used with the docking station. Refer to the resolution support table for full details on the output capabilities of computers based on their specifications.

The DU4 docking station provides universal compatibility and works with all Windows, Mac and Chromebook computers and laptops.
In addition to supporting up to four external displays, the dock provides ample connections for all other standard peripherals including:
- 2 x Thunderbolt 4 downstream ports (40Gbps / video output capable)
- 2 x HDMI video outputs
- 3 x DisplayPort video outputs
- 1 x USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 (10G)
- 1 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 (10G)
- 2 x USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 (5G)
- 2 x USB-A 2.0 (480M)
- 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet
- Combo Headphone/Microphone Jack (384 kHz)
- SD and Micro SD Card Reader (SD 4.0 / UHS-II - 312Mbps)
Allowing all modern USB-C equipped or older USB-A† computers to be connected to a minimum of two displays, this dock enables IT professionals and organisations to deploy the DU4 docking station as a single solution across all users.
The DU4 dock helps removes clutter and can power statically assigned workspaces and flexible hot desks in any organisation.
Lock slots allow the dock to be secured when used in shared workspaces.
† Requires a USB-C to A adapter or cable – available separately.

The dock features a 150W power adapter featuring GaN technology for powerful and efficient operation.
As well as powering the dock and all connected peripheral devices, the dock can provide up to a huge 96W of power to the connected laptop – enough to charge all but the most power hungry machines.
General
Note: When connected to a USB-A port, only HDMI 2 and 3 can be used (2x 1920*1080@60Hz displays).
Maximum resolutions for the different video outputs vary depending on the capabilities of the connected computer. Guidance on achievable resolutions can be found in the resolution support table in the specifications for the product.
This device can operate standalone and receive power from the computer it is connected to, or you can connect a USB-C Power Delivery (USB PD) power adapter (available separately) to the hub and it can charge computers and tablets that support USB PD charging.
The device supports USB PD 2.0 and 3.0 power adapters up to 100W. Note that the device can reserve up to 15W from power adapters to power itself and peripheral devices connected to the ports on the hub so it is best to use a USB PD power adapter that is at least 15W larger than the power adapter that was supplied with the computer.
The maximum Wattage that this hub can provide to charge a computer is 85W (100W power adapter minus 15W reserved by the hub). This is sufficient for most laptops, but a few larger high performance laptops may slow charge or not be able to charge through this device. If the computer shows a message indicating that it is not receiving enough power from the device, increase the size (Wattage) of the connected power adapter or connect the power adapter directly to the computer.
